Our Chess club is under the direction of our PE Teacher, Micheal Morales, who has been the UIL chess sponsor at McAuliffe for over 7 years. At competition, McAuliffe Chess students have won multiple individual and team trophies, including a 4th place finish in Spring 2018 at the State Chess tournament in Houston, Texas.
