This week our students got the sweetest surpriseāthey had no idea a parent would be visiting their class to read! Each class welcomed one special guest reader, and the excitement was priceless as students tried to guess whose parent it might be.

After reading "Enoughie Buddy and Finds his Superpower", students created their own pretend antennas to explore their emotions and practice sharing their feelings.

This morning, our students battled through back-to-back playoff games, winning both and advancing to the Elevate Flag Football Championship for the first time in school history!
Their second game was nothing short of incredible. With under three minutes left and trailing by 13 points, the team stayed focused and refused to quit. They scored a crucial touchdown, came up big on defense with a clutch interception, and then punched in the game-tying touchdown as time expired. The Challengers then sealed the victory by converting the extra point with no time left on the clock. šŖš„
We couldnāt be more proud of their focus and determination in the face of adversity.
š£ We invite everyone to come out and support our boys under the bright stadium lights of DQ Fan Field on Tuesday, November 18th at 7:00pm! Letās pack the stands and cheer on McAuliffe in the championship!
