Yesterday we celebrated World Teacher's Day! Our awesome teachers were treated to an apple bar. And thank you to our wonderful students who showed their appreciation to teachers as well!

Come and join McAuliffe's Book Club! Members are reading THIRST by Varsha Bajaj. This book takes our students to Mumbai, India where they are learning about the problems with the water system.
We had a blast last Friday at the McAllen Kids Marathon Kickoff Celebration! Loved seeing our students on the track and Jumbotron at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium. See everyone at the Final Mile in January!

Congratulations to our outstanding 5th Grade Science Teacher Edith Garcia! She will be the new MISD Science Coach. She has touched so many lives here at McAuliffe. She will now help our entire district grow and have a love for science. Way to go Mrs. Garcia!
It’s CUSTODIAN Appreciation Day!! A huge thank you goes out to our McAuliffe Custodians for all of their hard work in keeping our students safe and our campus clean! Our wonderful custodians are Enrique Gonzalez, Angelica Maldonado, Maria Pena, and Eduardo Garcia.
Coming up this Friday! This year, students will complete 3/4ths of the first mile at school during PE, then we will walk the last lap together as a school under the Friday Night Lights! We are so excited to see our wonderful students getting active together!
