Our school had an outstanding showing at the District Battle of the Books competition! Our main team earned 2nd place out of 18 schools, and our junior team placed 7th, an incredible accomplishment.
Battle of the Books is a districtwide event where students read four challenging, lengthy books and compete in a trivia-style quiz that tests detailed comprehension and recall. The competition is tough, and only the highest-scoring school advances to the regional level through Region One.
A huge thank you to our librarian, Mrs. AlcalĆ”, for her dedication, guidance, and encouragement. Her support played a big role in our studentsā success. We are incredibly proud of our teams and grateful for the leadership behind the scenes. Way to represent our school! šš
